The last few months have been very busy, we seen 32 children leave the nursery to go to school our leavers party was lovely and there were a few tears amongst us! We are now well into the new term with lots of new babies and families joining the nursery we hope your children are starting to settle in well. This term will be a busy one for the children who will be learning all out Autumn, enjoying Halloween parties and of course dare I say it Christmas…..I have given you as many dates as possible in this newsletter for the up and coming events however if there are any ad hoc days out your room seniors will let you know.

Development – Dalmeny

Our planning permission has been passed for a new extension onto the side of the building next to the toddler room that will provide us with an additional 12 spaces. We are currently developing a plan of works to allow the minimum disruption to our
service during the building work and will share this with you in due course. We hope to have it started as soon as possible and should be complete within 4 weeks.

Parent Committee Fun Day

Many thanks to everyone who came along to our parent committee organised fun day, your attendance was much appreciated and was an enjoyable fun day for everyone involved.

Reminder Web Site – Parent Area

We have introduced a new parent area on the page. Here you will find newsletters, news on general events or celebrations as well as our planning for the rooms so you can see what the children are doing at nursery on a weekly basis. We will continue to
add to this page anything that we think will be of interest to you. Please log in and take a look your feed back would be very useful;

Holidays

Can I ask parents who book their children on holiday to let us know if they change their plans. We arrange our staff rota according to how many children we have in on each day and if you have booked holidays with us and then bring in your children we may not have the correct number of staff so it’s very useful to us if we are aware of your plans.

Survey

Can I ask you to take a few minutes to help us improve our service to you by completing the survey www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/FX3PV6V
